Jordan Brand men’s limited edition black, "Chile Red", and "Neutral Grey" tumbled leather mid top retro basketball sneaker. The first Air Jordan conceptualized by legendary footwear designer Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 3 was originally released in 1988 and was the first Jordan model to feature the iconic Jumpman logo and elephant print (developed at MJ’s request). The Air Jordan 3 marked the debut of the Mars Blackmon commercials, starring Jordan and writer, director, and actor Spike Lee, who reprised his role from his 1986 film She’s Gotta Have It. Jordan also wore the Air Jordan 3 to win the NBA’s 1988 MVP and Defense Player of the Year awards, as well as the All-Star Dunk Contest.
