Jordan Brand men’s limited edition standard fit white, black, "It Steel Grey", and "Dark Powder Blue" tumbled leather high top retro basketball sneaker. Conceptualized by legendary footwear designer Tinker Hatfield and first released in 1994, the Air Jordan 10 debuted shortly after Michael Jordan’s first retirement from the NBA and was the first Air Jordan model that Nike did not consult Jordan on its design. As a result, the original “Steel Grey” colorway featured a leather toe cap that Nike subsequently removed from future models after Jordan expressed his displeasure with the detail. Despite this small hiccup, the sneaker featured some highly technical details for its time, such a quick-lace system and a series of interior and exterior elastic bands to keep the tongue in place. Additionally, the Air Jordan 10 features a rubber outsole with Michael Jordan’s greatest accomplishments from 1985 through 1994 (since Hatfield and Nike had no idea that Jordan would come out of retirement less than two years later).
